I was going to post the film clip for “Full Clip”, one of my favourite gangstarr songs.. but I remembered that this video was the catalyst for me getting into gangstarr and ultimately hip hop in the first place.
It’s Josh Kalis’ part from the 2003 DC skate video, I used to watch this video with my brother religiously and the more I watched the more I fell in love with this song. In my view its the perfect marriage of skate and hip hop culture.

this guy named galapagoose is a melbourne producer that I recently performed alongside at the beat invitational, this demo really shows how cool the monome (more info on monome here) is.. look out for this guy.

If anyone didn’t know, now you know! M-Phazes has busted out his debut album!! And guess what? its fuckin dope! but i’m guessing that anyone who is familiar with the man’s work will have guessed that already! I urge anyone who loves bangin hip hop to go out and grab a copy, its been worth the wait.
